£250.00 Day Rate (2-3 Days Per Week Ongoing)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Upholstery & Furniture Repair Technician for a successful furniture repair & restoration business to contract 2-3 days per week to begin with, with the expectation that work will increase for the successful candidate once they have proved their level of workmanship.
Offering an attractive rate of pay (£250.00 Day Rate), flexible working days (Self Employed) they are seeking a talented Furniture Technician or Furniture Upholsterer to join their small growing team and cover the North Derby region, such as Chesterfield, Alfreton and surrounding area.
Upholsterer & Furniture Technician duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct Furniture & Upholstery repairs to a high standard in customers homes
- Document all inspections and repairs of work carried out
- Ensure all repairs meet the required quality standards
- Meet and exceed all customer expectations and provide a high level of customer service
- Cover and carryout repairs across your given territory
- Ability to use a PDF device or similar to write your reports
Upholsterer & Furniture Technician - What We Are Looking for:
- Previous Upholstery and Furniture repair experience or similar trade
- Have experience in repairing both fabric and leather sofas would be a distinct advantage
- Have a natural ability to access and come up with solutions to enable a quick yet effective response to any issues that may arise
- Have your own commercial vehicle, tools and Public Liability Insurance
- Full UK Drivers License
- Eligible to live and work in the UK without VISA Sponsorship
