- Preparing surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning and masking.
- Operating powder coating equipment with precision.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Fabricating and assembling components before coating.
- Maintaining a tidy workspace and upholding safety standards.
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
- Performing equipment maintenance and promptly reporting any issues.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- An engineering background with proficiency in reading technical drawings.
- Demonstrable experience in powder coating, paint shop, or manufacturing.
- Competence in using hand and power tools for fabrication tasks.
- Solid mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment.
- Welding experience is beneficial.
- Basic maths skills for accurate material measurement.
- Familiarity with painting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail for high-quality finishes.
