We are working on behalf of our client, seeking a skilled Welder. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards. Based in Alfreton, a temporary to permanent role
Duties
- Perform mainly MIG welding on various components and assemblies. 6-8mm
- Assemble metal structures according to specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Assist in the training of junior welders as required.
What we are looking for -
- Proven experience in MIG welding is essential. TIG experience is an advantage
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with basic maths for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
What's in it for you -

- Working Monday - Friday on a day shift (6/7am starts)
- Pay £14 - £16 per hour
