Accounting Technician

Your new companyYou will work for an award-winning, forward-thinking and innovative accountancy firm who have seen their business steadily grow within the past couple of years.Your new roleAs an Accounting Technician, you will work in an established and dedicated team of accounting professionals. Your responsibilities will include: accounts preparation for sole, traders, partnerships and limited companies; assist with payroll; bank reconciliations; preparing financial statements for clients; tax returns; dealing with HMRC and other accounting duties as necessary.What you'll need to succeedQualified Accounting Technician with at least one year's experience working in an accountancy firmStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a team and on own initiativeSelf-motivated and ambitiousCompetent IT skills and experience using accountancy software, particularly XeroWhat you'll get in returnYou will work for an award-winning accountancy firm on a full-time basis and will be rewarded with a competitive salary which reflects your experience. After the probationary period you will work 2 days per week at home and 3 in the office.
