Financial Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Location: Northamptonshire (hybrid)

What you'll do:

As a Financial Accountant, your role will be pivotal in delivering month-end reports, preparing year-end statutory accounts under FRS102, VAT reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and liaising with third-party advisors on tax returns.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting.
  • Be a key contact for the external audit, ensuring appropriate support is available.
  • Liaise with third-party advisors in relation to tax returns.
  • Responsible for VAT reporting and associated controls.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the business to ensure all transactions are reported appropriately.

What you bring:

  • Part qualified or a finalist in (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and actively studying
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in multi-currency, B2B businesses preferable
  • Ability to understand detail but also provide big picture insight to senior stakeholders
