Halliday Marx have partnered exclusively with a Home Counties based Tech company looking for a Finance Manager / Financial Controller in the £60-75k ballpark.

This role is an excellent first or second step into the world of commerce and private equity backed businesses, if you are leaving practice or another company.

This role would suit either a Fresh out Practice Qualified Accountant or someone who has already been a small company Finance Manager / FC and looking for their next challenge.

A parent returning to work wanting 5 days a week but flexibility for pick up and drop off times would also work well.

The role is ideally 4 days a week in the office and as such if you are based in the High Wycombe, Watford, Bucks, Aylesbury area or close by, that would be ideal. Flexibility on times in the office is available.

Reporting directly into the inspirational Jurgen Klopp of an FD, this job is hugely broad and includes plenty of responsibility talking to the banks, the directors etc.

A few tasks, among others include:

Helping with any acquisitions that the PE firm agree on

Budgeting

Monthly management accounts - consolidating the UK and global accounts / businesses.

Cashflow forecasting

Assisting in the billing and AP processes

Excel modelling and analysis

Assisting with the Audit

Payroll and fixed assets

Systems improvements

You name it - this does everything

You will be:

A Qualified Accountant

Commercially minded

Experienced with working with or in Smaller companies

Keen to add you mark on any project to improve workflows / automation / efficiency of this small finance team
