Offering a range of services, they are committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs and expectations of their client base.Your new roleWe are looking for a Financial Controller to join their Senior Management team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the account and administration functions for the group of businesses, and you will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the company.
- Manage and develop a team of accounting and administration staff e.g., carrying out performance reviews, coaching and training.
- Prepare annual budgets and work with the SMT to support them and deliver profitability.
- Prepare forecasts. Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
- Control cash flow. Preparing statutory accounts, liaising with the auditors, and agreeing on the final accounts.
- Manage statutory returns to HMRC, such as VAT returns, intrastate returns.
- Manage all payroll activities to include timesheet processing, wages and pensions.
- Research and submit claim forms for grant assistance from Invest NI and other bodies.
- Work on adhoc projects where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be able to demonstrate having managed a Finance Function and you will have 5+ years experience within a finance function.
- You will be a qualified accountant.
- You will demonstrate competency with Excel and accountancy software, and you will be well-organised and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
