With fast-track progression to Financial Controller, the FD is looking for an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Manager, that has gone beyond purely 'turning the wheel', someone with an inquisitive mindset, technical and operational know-how and the gumption to get hands-on at every level. The role's wide remit offers scope rarely seen at this level and you will be granted a genuine platform to put all your technical and creative prowess into action.

How you'll make an impact

As Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Director, providing operational and technical expertise and constructive challenge to key decision-making.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Preparation of management accounts and reports for the board, ensuring analysis and commentary on variances to budget and forecasts
Finance Business Partnering
Provide support on key decision making
Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly monitoring with rolling updates to forecasts
Managing cash-flows, forecasting and producing regular cash flow updates
Suggest and manage improvements to systems, processes and financial controls
Lead the accounts payable and receivable function
Oversee a new ERP system implementation
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Schedule
Participation in the planning and execution of the annual statutory audit

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or QBE
Strong experience in month-end accounts preparation, planning, budgeting & forecasting
Line management experience
Experience of Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics)
System & process improvement experience
Advanced excel skills
