Management Accountant

Salary up to £35k (DOE) + Study Support

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to join Lusona Consultancys highly successful client in the service sector client in the role of Management Accountant. Reporting to senior management you will provide financial and business partnering support to non-financial internal and external stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing monthly management accounts
Completing month end tasks in a timely manner
Providing business partnering to non-financial colleagues through variance analysis and budgeting.
Providing points for improvement to increase efficiency.
Participating in the annual budgeting process
Providing weekly and monthly reporting for various stakeholders
Assisting with ad hoc project work as and when required.

Applicants will ideally come from a commercially focussed finance role, however, an ambitious high volume transactional accountant who would like to gain business partnering experience will also be considered. Preferably you will be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA). It is important to have strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as excellent communication skills written and verbal to partner with key business stakeholders.
