Management Accountant

In a dynamic and forward-thinking working environment, our client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a well established team.Your new roleYour role will be responsible for ensuring the production of the monthly management accounts, managing a small team to deliver them to strict deadlines. You will also be the key contact working across the business to provide relevant information to support the operational staff to make commercial decisions.

• You will be producing the monthly accounts reporting pack giving detailed commentary on business performance and variances.
• Management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations of key accounts
• Lead in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Management of the annual audit process, including ensuring preparation of relevant audit files and acting as the main point of contact
• Managing the day-to-day interaction, reporting and liaising with our key business partners,
• Preparation of cashflow and profit & loss Forecasts
• Identification of potential areas of improvement within the existing month end processes
• Managing a small team of finance staff

What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally be a qualified accountant or someone who has worked in a similar role over the last 5 years.You will ideally have a strong background in the preparation of management accounts.You will be very good at interpreting data. What you'll get in returnYou will be able to benefit from a WFH policy. The salary will be between £45000 - £50000 per annum, dependent on your experience.
