Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounting tasks and routine finance functions whilst supporting the Senior Management Team.

* Take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to year end standard and within reporting deadlines for company accountant;* Carry out variance analysis v budget and investigate/explain variances;* Preparation of KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis;* Assist with the preparation of monthly projections and annual budgets;* Responsibility for compliance (VAT & statutory returns);* Assist development & implementation of Management Information Systems and financial IT systems.What you'll need to succeedThe Person:

* Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or Part qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or QBE accountant;* Proficient in Word and MS Outlook with Intermediate to advanced Excel ability;* Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise workload;* Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills;* Be able to interact and communicate with staff at all levels including senior management in a professional manner.Preference will be given to candidates with* Experience of using an ERP system;* Experience in analysing production variances.What you'll get in returnYou will be a part of a market leading and award winning brand and given the opportunity to progress your Accountancy career.
