Your new roleAs a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the preparation and reporting of specific aspects of operating expenditure against budget. This involves analysing expenditure, calculating appropriate accruals and prepayments, identifying variances, and preparing explanatory commentary.
  • Supporting the Management Accountant in enhancing the visibility of operational performance related to production site overhead expenditures.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for your designated areas, highlighting any overdue or queried balances.
  • Assisting with the annual statutory audit, including addressing queries and preparing necessary reports.

What you'll need to succeedThis position is well-suited for either a part-qualified accountant or an individual with a minimum of two years of industry experience. Applicants should possess robust IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Additionally, strong analytical abilities and experience with financial processes are essential."
