Your new companyWe currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the site finance team within a leading manufacturing company based in Co. Armagh. The successful candidate will assist the site finance team with the timely and accurate production of financial reports and analysis within the business.Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller , the role of the Assistant Accountant will be central in supporting the day-to-day financial, accounting and administration duties of the department across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking management accounting and finance administration. This role will focus on ensuring accurate monthly reconciliations are produced in line with accounting processes and controls. What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will have a minimum of 2 years recent experience within a similar role. Part qualified financial accountant OR management accountant working towards qualification OR significant relevant experience in a similar role.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and possess strong attention to detail, with an ability to work accurately and quickly. You will be proactive, with a can-do attitude to work. and well organised with the ability to respond promptly and have experience of working to targets/deadlines.What you'll get in returnYou will be working within a well established finance team.
