This position requires flexible starting times working any 5/7 days. The job requires working in areas with temperature and humidity variations (dry, cooler and freezer).Key Accountabilities:路 Make sure drivers & customers have signed all pages of invoices and returns路 Keep records of driver paperwork errors路 Check all assets returned by driver路 Check all returned product and make sure returns are properly coded路 Run labels and tag returned product路 Enter data into the warehouse management system路 Make sure drivers place equipment and returns on proper pallets in the returns area路 Check product list under HACCP regulations路 Release manifest when driver check-in process has been completed路 Keep return area clean and orderly路 Communicate any problems to management in a timely manner路 Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your manager路 Operate an electric power pallet truck or forklift to transport product路 Follow SSOW and SOPs and immediately report any unsafe conditions路 Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business路 Requires working efficiently, proactively and Health and Safety conscious in a fast-paced warehouse environment路 Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures路 Daily cycle counting and inventory integrity across all zones路 Follow procedures to comply with HACCP policyThe role requires a candidate who will possess:路 PC Skills: Excel, Email and Word familiar with WMS systems路 Strong numerical and analytical skills required路 Attention to detail and accuracy路 Must be able to identify product and determine quality according to HACCP guidelines路 Strong personality and effective communication skills to explain and enforce proper policies and procedures路 Strong organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines路 The ability to co-operate and get along with co-workers路 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in person and on telephone路 The ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and efficiently路 Previous inventory experience in a fast-pace warehouse environment路 Experience operating an electric pallet truck or forklift路 Flexibility with regards to hours of work / shift work路 Strong mathematical skills needed to count product, multiply, add, subtract and understand percentagesCore Competencies:路 Understanding your customers - acts as a role model in personal approach to internal and external customer goals.
