JOB Quality Engineer

LOCATION Worthing

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Worthing / Brighton area with experience in the manufacturing industry. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Quality engineering and inspection team.

The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

2 years experience or more in a similar Quality Engineer position.
Knowledge of various Quality Engineering tools
Understanding of either AS9100, IATF16949 or ISO13485 standards.
Familiar with inspection tools and processes.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Familiarity with the auditing process.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with dealing with assembly or injection moulding processes beneficial.

The Quality Engineer role will involve:

Assisting the Quality Management team with Auditing processes.
Monitor manufacturing to ensure products are conforming to regulations.
Liaising with suppliers to address quality issues of inbound goods.
Undertaking continuous improvement activities.
Support the manufacturing departments with corrective actions.
