This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a pivotal role between the Quality Manager and Quality Inspector, combining hands-on inspection with customer-facing responsibilities to ensure top-notch quality standards.
Quality Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager and Quality Inspector to meet the company's QA objectives, driving continuous improvement within the ISO 9001 framework.
- Conduct hands-on inspections, ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards.
- Resolve quality concerns directly with suppliers and customers, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to maintain a high-quality, right-first-time ethos.
Quality Engineer - What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with machined parts such as fasteners, components or similar.
- A solid understanding of quality core tools like SPC, PPAP, MSA, and FMEA.
- Hands-on experience with basic measuring equipment, including micrometres, electronic callipers, shadowgraphs, and thread gauges.
- Strong customer skills and used to working with clients on quality issues.
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 430pm.
