Supplier Quality & Development Engineer
Initial 6-Month Contract
Up To £395 per day (Umbrella)

I have a client within the Automotive sector who is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer with a strong background in Automotive. The role will allow you to oversee and manage a key Supplier Relationship with a heavy focus on PPAP's.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct Supplier/Part Risk Assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Report supplier progress to the Purchasing and SQA Program team, covering open issues, PPAP part pedigree for each build phase, and delivery forecasts vs. actuals.
- Oversee PPAP part approvals to align with the delivery plan.
- Manage the Non-PPAP part Concession process to ensure a "Plan for Every Part" is established for builds.
- Ensure Quality & Capacity Verification meets MDP targets.
- Lead resolution of major open issues, ensuring Supplier Senior Management is actively engaged in the process.
