Asset Manager -Public Sector - Contract

Rate - DOE

Location - Southeast England/Hybrid working

Start date - Immediately

g2 are currently working alongside a local authority in the Southeast of England and they are

currently searching for an Asset Manager who has tangible experience with planning and

executing large scale projects from inception up to completion with a particular emphasis on disposal

projects.

With an expansion due to increased funding this local authority is looking to develop this

department and needs an experienced and professional leader to manage and oversee the team.

The council is looking to increase its efficiency and cost effectiveness alongside the restructure of its

asset portfolio.

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following level of experience:

At least 10 years of related experience in the field, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and projects.
Strong knowledge of legislation and understanding of estate surveying.
Ability to manage a wide array of government assets and portfolio.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject.
Industry related qualifications such as MRIC's.
Full driver's license.

The role is outside IR-35, and the role is available in a hybrid scheme with 2 days in office 3 days remote work.
