We are currently working with a global financial institution to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Middle Office Support Analyst. This role will focus on supporting Fixed Income products and managing a planned platform migration for current GMI reconciliations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the trading activities and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working within Fixed Income, preferably in a Middle Office, Operations, or Product Control capacity.
  • Monitor and compile daily exception reports to ensure positions and risks are accurately captured at the time of execution.
  • Liaise with traders, clients, and Operations teams to identify and resolve issues, provide trade information, and act as a point of contact for multiple teams within the firm.
  • Investigate cash and payment fails, perform trade maintenance, and reconcile daily trading activities.
  • Maintain, test, develop, and improve current processes and procedures.
  • Identify and investigate regulatory reporting exceptions, developing a strong understanding of current and upcoming regulatory requirements (e.g., Mandatory Clearing, MRNCCD, EMIR reporting, MiFID II Trading Obligation, QFC Adherence).
  • Review daily control reports to identify patterns of exceptions.
  • Provide support for testing in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new system rollouts.
  • Familiarity with Dodd-Frank and EMIR regulatory rules, ISDA definitions, and industry initiatives.
  • Flexible with working hours, including occasional early starts or late nights.
