The Role:

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing new products and maintaining the current product range. The job duties of a Biomedical Engineer involve designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge medical accessories used during surgical procedures.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The design of new products for the company's product portfolio
  • Providing technical expertise to the commercial team in communication to and from customers
  • The creation of technical documentation and product technical files which conform to all regulatory requirements
  • Chair project and stakeholder meetings as and when required
  • Conduct and oversee when required product verification and validation activities

What you need?

  • Preferably degree educated in Biomedical Engineering or a relevant engineering / scientific subject or relative industry experience.
  • More than 3 years' experience of medical device product development would be preferable
  • Working knowledge of relevant medical device regulatory requirements (ISO13485/21CFR820, IEC 60601 etc)
