You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. Your new roleWorking in the existing team, you will undertake a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

  • Prepare and maintain precise financial statements, reports, and forecasts in line with accounting standards.
  • Supervise accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Oversee all finance operations, including the production of statutory accounts, month-end accounting processes, profit and loss account consolidation, balance sheet analysis, cost variance analysis (actual vs. budget), and 'Work in Progress' analysis.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans, offering insights based on historical data and trends.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this position, you should possess a strong knowledge of financial services and principles of financial management, along with proficiency in accounting software. An excellent understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices is essential. You should also have demonstrated experience working within an accounts or administration team.
