An Overview of the Role

As a Senior Consultant for Cloud Strategy, you will join our Cloud Advisory team within the broader Business Technology unit. Our cloud advisory service is dedicated to inspiring, guiding, and assisting organizations in their cloud adoption journey to create new business and revenue models, drive growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize their carbon footprint.

Cloud technology is a fundamental component of every business strategy, ranging from the development of new business models to strategic risk management. Today's cloud strategy extends beyond infrastructure to encompass business, application, data, security, integration, and platform strategies. As a cloud strategy consultant, you will leverage your understanding of our clients' businesses and our industry thought leadership to devise cloud strategies that prepare enterprises for the future. Your role involves delivering business-oriented cloud strategies that facilitate our clients' cloud adoption, acceleration, and innovation.

Your responsibilities include engaging and communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels to collaboratively innovate, design, and implement new business and operating models. With a keen awareness of market trends and client challenges, you will contribute to enduring and sustainable organizational transformations.

Your expertise in business transformation through technology and in altering client operations will be invaluable. With ease in a technology-centric workplace, you will contribute your established skills and experience in the following areas:

Experience in cloud strategy and implementation for large or mid-size organisations on public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Experience in developing cloud adoption strategy and roadmaps for clients
Implementation of cloud strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud.
Experience in translation of client business challenges into cloud-based solutions and strategy within specific technology and business domains
Understanding of cloud transformation challenges and pitfalls
Understanding of industry clouds provided by AWS, Azure, GCP in one or more industry domains
Understanding of the role of cloud for transformation of data & analytics, customer experiences and enterprise transformation
Understanding of cloud security models, DevSecOps and cloud operations
Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
Being comfortable in a client-facing role, with previously consulting or advisory experience.
