Start date: ASAP

Assignment length: 3 months

Gross Pay rate (PAYE): up to £21.98 per hour + holiday pay (£24.63 per hourinclusive of holiday pay)

Location: Home-based (can be based anywhere in the UK)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 0900 – 1700

Job Purpose:

Our client, a global membership organisation is looking for a Business Development Executive to support our client, during a time of sickness absence in the Business Development team.

In this role, you will be

  • Identifying and developing opportunities to expand business engagement across various employer sectors.
  • Managing a small portfolio of accounts, ensuring effective engagement and delivering on agreed KPIs.
  • Handling incoming business inquiries and leads, allocating them appropriately for - follow-up.
  • Conducting market research to identify target clients based on potential contributions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to enhance partnerships and business growth.
  • Promoting professional qualifications and services, supporting businesses in achieving accreditation, and driving engagement.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Has proven experience in business development, sales, or B2B relationship management.
  • Has experience in the education, skills, or professional body landscape. Is commercially oriented and results-driven, with a proven track record of delivering success.
  • Understands economic trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Is confident in presenting and promoting products and services to clients.
  • Possesses excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to business growth.
