Why join our client?
My client is an award-winning Series A/B CleanTech startup, currently with less than 100 employees but huge ambition and scaling incredibly quickly.
Circa 5 years old, the business is now starting to springboard and has grown from £2mill revenue in 2023 to delivering £25mill+ revenue in 2024 and are on-track for their forecast of £125mill+ in 2025. They are appropriately funded with a recent and successful Series A raise and fast approaching Series B, with the security of repeat support from a lead investor.
How you'll make an impact
The Commercial Partnership Manager will support (and report into) the Chief Strategy Officer to execute the business' Go-to-Market partnership strategy.
This role sits in the corporate development team, a close-knit and agile team focused on driving growth, leading on initiatives such as international expansion, product innovation, acquisition and the development of strategic partnerships.
This is a unique role that allows you to manage complex partnerships from inception to execution, joining the dots internally between Corp Dev, Product and Commercial teams to build and enhance high-value relationships with a focus on revenue creation and growth.
Why our client is excited about you
Our client is looking for someone who is values driven and has a passion for both technology and sustainability. It's currently a small business but with exceptional leadership. For me, the appeal to this role is the visibility, exposure/ownership and the chance to make a genuine impact (and get recognised and rewarded for that impact).
The right person for this role will have a commercial, strategy or business development background within high-growth, scale-up environments, ideally linked to the CleanTech or Renewable Energy markets.
Criteria to apply:
- Experience in partnership management, strategy consulting (GTM), or business development.
- Excellent communication skills - we need someone with proven relationship management and negotiation experience, who can build relationships at all levels internally and externally.
- Scale-up experience – this is a dynamic and high-growth environment with a very innovative proposition. It requires someone agile who can handle the pace and challenges of a scaling business in a Private Equity backed environment.
- Knowledge of the CleanTech or Renewable Energy market/sector (desirable)
- High pedigree academic and professional background
What you'll get in return
£70,000-£85,000 + 25% Bonus
Additional Benefits
