Opheem is looking for a strong, dynamic new Sous Chef to join its team.

Opening in 2018 and receiving its first Michelin Star just a year later, Opheem has proven to be a unique restaurant offering modern technique with British produce to explore flavour and delivery at the highest level.

Constantly striving to improve and evolve as a restaurant, we were honoured to receive our second Michelin star in February 2024 and are looking for talent to join us along that journey.

Built on bold & intricate flavours and foundations in the precision of European cooking, the restaurant has found itself consistently in the top restaurant guides since opening with a view on improving and refining every day.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • As Sous Chef you will be responsible for being able to hold standards, drive skills and lead by example. You should be able to confidently showcase a finessed skillset in all sections as well has capable of maintaining standards and inspiring the team to succeed.
  • Experience is a necessity with a calm and efficient mentality to solve problems before they arise.
  • Meticulous in detail and consistency but with the correct temperament to coach and teach others.
  • Ability to focus on completing tasks, managing your own section and able to assist others.
  • Ambition to succeed and improve.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK unrestricted.

Experience:
