Category Manager - Food Industry -£45K-£55K - London - 2 days a week

We are working with a fantastic Food brand with a strong market presence in their food category and have extremely ambitious plans for the next 5 years. They are looking for a Category Manager to be part of the European expansion.

The most suitable candidate will have strong experience in Food Category Management, will have team management experience.

Key responsibilities:

Create and oversee the Category Strategy Development plan, looking at areas for growth and consider potential risks.
Work on Product development from concept to launch.
Alongside the broader team, plan and manage the market intelligence to understand the consumer preferences and landscape.
Work with the Brand and Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotions for new products.
Work with the Sales team to implement plans and promotional activities.

Key skills required:

Currently working as Category Manager.
At least 5-6 years experience with 2 years being in a managerial position
FMCG experience is essential for this role - especially if European exposure
Strong communication and relationships skills to work across multiple stakeholders
Fluency in Chinese is very advantageous
