The Proactive Sales Executive role is integral to the smooth running of sales and operations within the Ballymena branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager, and is key to driving proactive sales from the branch. The position will assist and liaise with the trade counter, yard operations, the sales representative and the driver for the branch.

Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00 Fri 07.30 - 16.00 Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs

Location: Unit 12 Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Co. Antrim, BT42 3HB

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Tuesday 1st October

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customers

  • Support the external sales team with customer requests e.g. technical information, updated quotes or required product certification.

  • Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and notify customers.

  • Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service.

  • Provide excellent customer service by processing and authorising a variety of customer transactions, face to face, on the telephone and online.

  • Identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of JP Corry products.

  • Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts.

  • Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary, passing to the Branch Manager for regular sign off.

  • Any other duties deemed reasonable
