Area Sales Manager Role Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Technical Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our filtration products sales within a specified region across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales within the filtration or a related engineering industry, with a demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the UK market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets for filtration products within the UK.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as necessary.
Revenue Growth:
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the assigned territory.
- Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and by maximising opportunities with existing customers.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, tailored to the needs of UK-based clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers across the UK, acting as the primary contact within your territory.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand their filtration needs and provide tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
- Engineering background or qualifications.
- 5+ years of sales experience, ideally within the filtration or a closely related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
