I'm working with a leading engineering consultancy based in the UK, currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the UK water sector to join our dynamic team. This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in major infrastructure projects, contribute to the development of critical systems, and uphold our dedication to engineering excellence.
Projects
- Infrastructure: Work on key projects such as trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections.
- Non-Infrastructure: Focus on civil and structural modifications at production sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and project management.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.

Team Collaboration:
- Work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

- Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in the industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.

The role is 95% office based in Berkshire - the working hours are flexible as long as you are completing your 40hr week.
