A global consultancy planning to significantly expand its Digital teams in 2025 seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). The ideal candidate will have valid and transferable security clearance, although we may also consider applicants eligible for clearance.


  • Permanent role
  • Remote with Occasional client visits
  • Up to £55k + benefits
  • Candidate must have Live SC Clearance



The position involves providing support outside of regular hours, depending on client needs. Applicants should only apply if they are willing and able to accommodate this requirement.


What our client is looking for:


  • Proven experience in implementing SRE principles is essential, and familiarity with Dynatrace, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry would be advantageous.
  • A solid grasp of the role of a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and the contribution to the team is essential.
  • Knowledge of microservices and container orchestration is important, as is experience in facilitating continuous delivery pipelines. Understanding the construction and deployment of pipelines is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary, along with the confidence to engage with developers and stakeholders when needed.


Youll be tasked with the following:

  • Defining and implementing Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs),
  • Establishing robust observability practices within end-customer platforms, creating dashboards and configuring alerts for real-time system health visibility.
  • Assessing/enhancing Kubernetes capabilities to bolster DevOps efficiency through innovation.
  • Assist with future proofing and collaborating with the development team to encourage automation and best practise DevOps processes
