Your new companyHays are working in partnership with a well-established engineering consultancy to hire a Structural Engineer for their growing team in Belfast. With offices in both Northern Ireland and England, they work on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential, communal, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building creation, handling various technical tasks, managing clients, and fostering new positive relationships.

Your new roleOur client is growing their team and is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their office in Belfast.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop practical and cost-effective structural designs using timber, concrete, masonry, and steel.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Have at least 3 years of design experience with a consulting structural engineering firm in the UK or Ireland.
  • Ideally, have experience in minor civil design.

What you'll need to succeed
