Job Title: Graduate / Trainee Building Surveyor
Location: Montserrat, Caribbean
Contract: Short-Term Contract: Mid-October December 18-20 (with potential return January 2025 for 1-2 months)
Compensation: Competitive day rate, inclusive of economy flights, accommodation, and daily food allowance of £30

About the Project:
We are seeking a motivated Building Surveyor (or similar background in engineering or architecture) to join our clients team on a short-term assignment in Montserrat. Youll be supporting a dynamic project on-site as we work to complete maintenance and refurbishment tasks across two locations, ensuring project quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Assist in overseeing general maintenance, bathroom refurbishments, and redecoration work.
  • Site Administration: Coordinate and track project updates, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Weekly Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly site progress reports.
  • As-Built Plans: Support the team in preparing and updating CAD drawings (CAD skills are a plus).
  • O&M Manuals: Help in the preparation and support of Operations & Maintenance manuals.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate or trainee-level experience in Building Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • CAD skills are advantageous but not required.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and safety.
