Business Development Director - Remote

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team, responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in new and alternative markets included, but not limited to, Insurance Companies, Accident Management Companies, Credit Hire Operators, Rental and Vehicle Leasing.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Research new and alternative work providers, identify key prospect clients and decision makers, and actively seek new business opportunities

  • Use all available communication channels including personal selling, face-to-face meetings, email, telephone and social selling to connect with prospect clients

  • Build the business development pipeline by engaging effectively with key prospect clients

  • Use a consultative, solution-based sales approach to achieve agreed sales targets

  • Ensure Salesforce CRM is accurately and regularly updated to reflect the status of the opportunities created

  • Attending and representing the business at trade shows and networking events etc for new business acquisition

  • Cross selling of all SYNETIQ products and services

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Good understanding of the insurance and accident management industries

  • An accomplished prospector, presenter and influencer

  • Great all-round communicator, confident and professional manner.

  • Able to build an excellent rapport with our valued clients

  • Experienced and successful track record in B2B sales

  • High degree of numeracy and commercially astute

  • Experience of using Salesforce CRM (Advantageous)

  • Strong commercial acumen with a broad understanding of all the levers that impact revenue & profit
