Commercial Asset Manager

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking aCommercial Asset Managerto oversee the management and optimization of their battery storage assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial team focused on making net-zero a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily commercial operations of battery storage assets to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Perform financial analysis (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) to support key decisions.
  • Handle contract negotiations and manage relationships with off-takers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Prepare commercial reports for senior management and investors.
  • Support strategic planning, focusing on revenue optimization and cost management.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in asset operations and market conditions.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in asset management, ideally within the energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets, particularly in battery storage and renewable energy.
  • Excellent financial analysis skills (experience with financial modeling is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Python, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication and contract negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
