Commercial Asset Manager

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking aCommercial Asset Managerto oversee the management and optimization of their battery storage assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial team focused on making net-zero a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily commercial operations of battery storage assets to ensure optimal profitability.
Perform financial analysis (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) to support key decisions.
Handle contract negotiations and manage relationships with off-takers, suppliers, and service providers.
Prepare commercial reports for senior management and investors.
Support strategic planning, focusing on revenue optimization and cost management.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with regulations.
Identify and mitigate risks in asset operations and market conditions.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years experience in asset management, ideally within the energy sector.
Strong knowledge of energy markets, particularly in battery storage and renewable energy.
Excellent financial analysis skills (experience with financial modeling is a plus).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Python, and Power BI.
Strong communication and contract negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
