CAD Technician Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to specification
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing, based on client requirements
- Liaise with design and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy
- Create floor plan layouts and technical documentation
- Maintain records and paperwork to ensure compliance
- Work to Health & Safety standards at all times
- Manage your own workload to meet deadlines
- Continuously seek improvements in processes and practices
CAD Technician Requirements:
- Experience as a CAD Technician in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office & Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Experience with CNC operation and programming
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
