AdTech Project Manager Advertising VoD/AVOD/FAST Streaming TV Service. 6 month contract initially Pay rate approx £475 -£500pd Outside IR35 immediate Start (1-2 weeks) Hybrid Working (approx. 2 days a week on site in London offices)

London based Broadcaster requires a Project Manager with AdTech Project experience such as managing new advertising solutions/ monetisation initiatives. This requires adtech within non-linear digital broadcast video VoD/AVOD/FAST Streaming TV Services. The AdTech Project Manager will work closely with internal development and Product teams, AdOps, revenue, marketing teams and a number of 3rd party vendors and technology partners (i.e. Video ad servers such as Freewheel and Streaming video app partners etc). This will be managing a number of mixed technical and operational ad Ops projects to update, optimise and expand content monetisation/video advertising capabilities.


The position requires the following:

  • Ability to work with cross functional multi-vendor teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Experience in new Advertising solutions/ monetization initiatives across nonlinear broadcast video VoD/AVOD/FAST Streaming TV Services
  • Must be organized and communicate effectively. Experience with managing delivery of digital advertising initiatives with multiple stakeholders and vendors
  • Full lifecycle delivery (experience in Agile and waterfall methodology).
  • Great verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels.
  • Highly competent with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience dependency mapping, managing multiple projects, forecasts, and resources.
  • Understanding of Nonlinear ad ops and video AdTech, (ideally Freewheel knowledge) and similar industry ad server products, solutions and terminology.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Manage On time, On budget, On quality
  • Allocate and manage development/implementation activity with the third-party vendors.
  • Providing governance and reporting on the various workstreams.
  • Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues.
  • Ensuring that all project related content is fully documented on the company Confluence wiki.
  • Ensuring that all tasks are recorded and maintained on the company Jira.
  • Work in Agile and waterfall best practice as required.
  • Managing resources, and budget against agreed estimates.
  • Project Plan and kick off, provide dependency mapping, Working with senior stakeholders to provide visibility across the various workstreams/initiatives.
  • Ensuring that any knowledge transfer and training is provided to the various operational teams impacted by the delivery of new or enhanced functionality.
