CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / CNC Setter (Full Instructor / Teacher Training)

£33,500 rising to £36,500 after training and further raises with further qualifications

Office based, Commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewksbury and surrounding areas


Are you a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, Manual Machinist or similar looking to move off the tools into a days based role where you will work with the next generation of CNC Setters and Machinists to help, guide and mentor them though their apprenticeships all whilst having a great work life balance and a brilliant pension scheme combined with further training to gain more qualifications?

This is a rare and exciting opportunity where you will be fully trained within teaching, and become a go to recognised training specialist and have the opportunity to progress your career.

This company are recognised as experts in engineering training, with 50 employees and coming up to 5 decades in business, they are known as the go to trainers in the South West.

This role will suit a Welder looking to move off the tools into a days based role where you will work with the next generation of CNC Setters and Machinists to help, guide and mentor them though their apprenticeships all whilst having a great work life balance

The role
*Days based- Monday to Friday role working 36.5 hours per week
*Full training provided in teaching and further industry qualifications
*Working with apprentices to pass their apprenticeship and gain BTEC qualification.
*Training/ instructing CNC and Manual Machining principles.

The person
*Have experience as a CNC Setter or Machinist
*Want to move into a Teaching role
