Sonic Summary

The position is for a Machine Setter located in Malvern Link with a salary range of £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:45 to 16:15 and Friday from 07:00 to 12:00.
Candidates should have relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering, particularly in producing precision parts.
Key responsibilities include operating bespoke machines, focusing on process improvements, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Experience in quality control systems and familiarity with SMED and root cause analysis is preferred, and knowledge of handling glass materials is desirable.

About the Role:
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for engineering looking to progress your career in manufacturing? We are recruiting an experienced Machine Setter for an established manufacturing company in Malvern, this role would be suitable for a multi-skilled individual with experience producing precision parts coming from either a Manual Machining, Process Engineering or general Machine Setting background.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn and work on various bespoke machines and lines, working closely with the operations and production manager to understand setting routines
Focus on advancing process improvements
Ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained
Operate any machinery within the workshop and be willing to help in different areas if necessary

Key Skills Required:

Worked in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, with relatable experience
Knowledge of Quality Control Systems and Health & Safety at work
A familiarity with SMED and route cause analysis
A background dealing with glass and an understanding of the safety issues that come with handling such materials are desirable
