Your new companyDue to successful bidding, one of Northern Ireland's continuously growing family-run construction contractors is now seeking a Foreperson to oversee a mixed-use commercial/residential scheme close to Belfast City Centre. Having been established for over 40 years, the company has built an enviable portfolio of projects within the commercial, industrial, education & healthcare sectors, developing a strong client network and establishing a reputation for successfully delivering innovative and complex projects across Northern Ireland.Your new roleAs Foreperson, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the finishing stages of an ongoing mixed-use development in Belfast. You will be required to oversee the subcontractors and direct labour in order to meet the programme of works. You will be responsible for carrying out audits, inspections and quality control along with undertaking any site inductions as required. You will liaise with Project/Contracts Managers, communicating regular progress reports and ensuring the project is kept on track.What you'll need to succeedAs a successful Foreperson, previous experience managing construction or refurbishment projects as Site No.1 is essential, with demonstrable knowledge of the commercial or residential sectors. You will be health & safety focused with good technical knowledge and an eye for detail.As this is an imminent requirement, you will be finishing up a current project or available immediately. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS qualification.What you'll get in returnThis is an opportunity for an available Foreperson or an individual looking for a contract/freelance-based role to secure work through to Summer 2025, ideal for any individual based in or commutable to Belfast City Centre.
