SJB Contracting Ltdare currently recruiting aContracts Managerto oversee several projects running concurrently, from tender to post completion in and around Oxfordshire.

Also looking for Non Working Foreman.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager with a background in managing multiple sites.

Role Overview:

  • Site Management: Extensive experience in managing carpentry projects is essential. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to interpret detailed site drawings and effectively communicate this information to the carpentry team.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the on-site workforce, driving productivity while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate direct labour while managing project timelines to ensure completion on time and within budget.
  • Reporting: Regularly update project timelines, prepare performance and status reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive team spirit by building strong working relationships with all site personnel.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to strict standards for quality control, health and safety, welfare, and environmental procedures. Attend required training and induction courses to stay informed on all relevant systems and protocols.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic, setting a high standard for the entire team.

General Requirements:

  • Certifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and Gold/Black CSCS Card are mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in carpentry and site management.
  • Driving License: Full & Clean Drivers License

Salary:

Salary: 60k-70k dependent on experience.
