Cedar are supporting a Train Operator who are on the look for a Senior Contract Manager. This is a permanent role and will be a mixture of home and office based (1-2 days in Central London) offering a salary up to £67,600 per annum plus a range of benefits which include a competitive pension package (final salary pension) and free and/or discounted train fares.

This is a newly created role within the organisation and the successful candidate will be responsible for both recruiting and managing 2 x Contract Managers. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain the successful candidate will have overall responsibility of creating a new centralised Contract Management function, updating policies and procedures, establishing the use of a contract management platform along with reporting KPIs and Service Credits. This role will be an integral part of the Supply Chain function and you will hold key responsibilities associated with the delivery and success of all contracts.

Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE:

  • Proven track record of working in Contract Management across both the Private and Public Sector
  • Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions (standard commercial contracts, consultancy agreements, NDA's, etc.)
  • Understanding of Procurement within both the Private and Public Sector marketplace is essential
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and Negotiation skills
  • Experience establishing a new Contract Management function would be advantageous
  • Experience using the Jagger Contract Management platform would be advantageous
