Position: Aviation Technical Skills Trainers
Location:Riyadh, KSA
Start Date: 24th November 2024
Purpose:
To prepare, deliver and assess on the college technical training programmes
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for trainees and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of trainees
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides trainees with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Main Core Duties:
Developing and issuing educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
Supervising classes to ensure all trainees are learning in a safe and productive environment.
Delivering personalized instruction to each trainee by encouraging interactive learning.
Planning and implementing educational activities and events.
Evaluating and documenting trainees progress.
Grading of Assessments
Teaching:
To teach trainees according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the trainee in college and elsewhere
To use teaching strategies that will engage and challenge trainees appropriate to their needs and the demands of the syllabus
To assess, record, and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of trainees and to keep such records as are required
To ensure a high-quality learning experience for trainees which meets internal and external quality standards
To prepare and update subject materials to meet the requirements of industry sponsors
To maintain good order, discipline, and respect for others; to promote understanding of the college's rules and values; to encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework; to safeguard health and safety and to develop relationships with and between trainees conducive to optimum learning
To undertake an assessment of trainees as requested by external examination bodies, faculty, and college procedures and give written, verbal, and diagnostic feedback to trainees on individual work and group work
Curriculum Provision & Development:
To assist the Head of the Training in order to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching and learning which complements the colleges strategic objectives
Staff Development:
To take part in the colleges staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development
To continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods
To engage actively in the appraisal review process
To work as a member of a designated team and to contribute positively to effective working relations within the college
Quality Assurance:
To adhere to and help to implement college quality procedures
To implement modifications and improvements where required
To take part, as may be required, in the review, development, and management of activities relating to the curriculum, organization, and pastoral functions of the college
Management Information:
To maintain appropriate records and to provide relevant accurate and up-to-date information for the colleges management information system
To track the progress of assigned trainees and use this information to inform teaching and learning
Communications:
To communicate and cooperate with persons or bodies outside the college, where appropriate
To follow agreed policies for communications in the college
To attend meetings in accordance with the colleges policy
Management of Resources:
To assist the Head of Department with the identification of resource needs and to contribute to the efficient and effective use of resources
To co-operate with other staff to ensure a sharing and effective usage of resources for the benefit of the college, Department, and the trainees
To coordinate and manage the work of other staff, such as support staff, participating in the teacher-designated lessons
Other specific duties:
To play a full part in the life of the college, and community, to support its strategic commitment, purpose, and intent, and to encourage staff and trainees to follow this example
To actively engage in the colleges self-review and evaluation processes
To comply with the colleges Health and Safety Policy and undertake risk assessments as appropriate
To attend meetings as determined and directed by the College Academic Director
To undertake any other duty as specified by the Head of Training/College Academic Director not mentioned above
To comply with the colleges procedures concerning safeguarding and to ensure that training is accessed
Education & Experience
Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent or level 3 teaching qualification and willingness to obtain a level 4 teaching qualification within two years of commencing employment
3 years experience in a relevant industry
Evidence of teaching or training
Display patience and cultural awareness.
Skills and abilities
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
Strong problem-solving Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Appropriate levels of IT skills to undertake relevant duties, i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint or the willingness to undertake relevant training
Creative and energetic.
Salary Package:
Base salary SAR17,000 per month TAX FREE
Housing allowance SAR 4,250per month TAX FREE
Transportation allowance SAR 500per month TAX FREE
Flight allowance SAR 500per month TAX FREE
Monthly Gross Salary 22,250 SAR (Approx. £4531 Per Month)

30 days Annual Leave per annum
End of Service Award upon successfully completing the contract
