A well-established business, committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Secretary to join our team. Whether youre looking for full-time or part-time work, we are open to flexible arrangements for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist conveyancers and solicitors with property transactions, including sales, purchases, and transfers.
- Prepare and manage legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and land registry applications.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth progress of cases.
- Conduct searches, file documents with HM Land Registry, and manage online submissions.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and track deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in conveyancing or as a legal secretary is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Case Management Systems).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
