Job Role: Credit ControllerLocation: Belfast City CentreHours: Monday to Friday - 09:00-5:00pmHybrid role- 2 days in the office / 3 days at homePay rate: £17.80 per hourDuration: Temporary ongoing, temp to perm opportunitiesYour role:As the credit controller you will report and share team performance each month. You will support collaborative relationships across the business, particularly with the sales team to ensure a balance between prudent credit management and the growth agenda. You will lead on and deliver continuous improvement initiatives in line with the business strategy. You will review and enforce the rules of governance surrounding the credit policy, credit insurance, risk criteria, and CARM processes. You will carry out the balance sheet reconciliations and work with the auditors to provide test samples. You will deputise for the Team Leader in their absence.Your responsibilities:* Support the Team Leader to deliver team performance and maximise the cash conversion on a weekly and monthly basis.* Responsible for KPI reporting, analysis, and commentary.* Improve our risk and Credit process capability through various local and global learning programmes and coaching. Work closely with credit execs and external legal service provider to maximise debt recovery on aged debts.* Other key deliverables as required in the role.You will have:* Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C grade including English and Maths* At least 5 years in a credit or risk role* Proven ability to consistently deliver high quality results* Strong systems capability, including Excel, Power Point, and SAP preferrable* Experience of decision making in a customer and commercial facing role* Proven ability to work and influence cross functionally* Working knowledge of legal aspects of insolvency and debt recovery is advantageous* As is working knowledge of Credit, AML, and GDPR policies* A 3rd level education is preferredTo apply for this role, please complete the form below by filling out your name and contact details, and attaching your CV.
