Position: FiveTran Specialist Data Engineer

Type: Contract

Location: Remote (must be located in the UK)

Duration: 3-6 months

Start Date: November start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using FiveTran to streamline data integration across various sources.
  • Develop high-performance data models and optimised SQL queries for processing large data-sets in Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with data teams to automate data workflows using Python, ensuring data is clean, consistent, and reliable.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, providing insights through efficient data solutions.
  • Perform data validation and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the platform.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience working with FiveTran to manage and optimize data ingestion.
  • Proficient in Snowflake, with the ability to design data models and write complex SQL queries.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, capable of working with large data-sets and crafting advanced queries.
  • Python expertise for scripting and automation in a data engineering context.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design principles and data architecture best practices.
  • Experience with tools such as DBT is a plus.
