Job Description

I'm working alongside a consultancy whose end client, is looking for a Data Architect to come in and help with the build of a new Data Architecture function. They aim to improve services for end users and improve how new policies are developed through the effective use and reuse of data. You'll push forward the data vision to wider government and be able to communicate this to all levels of responsibility, including chief data officers and chief executive officers in government.

Data Architect - Government Institute

- No Security clearance required, as long as you're elegible that's fine (BPS checked will be carried out prior to joining)
- Active SC clearance (desirable)
- Inside IR35
- Initial 5 months (unitl end of financial year) with likely for further 12 months (new financial year)
- 1/2 days on site (Bristol/London)
- Rate: £650.00 pd

Role Requirements

A good understanding of data architecture principles and how data architecture integrates with other disciplines for system design and build
Experience in data architecture and system design methods such as UML and C4

Experience of data architecture and system design methods such as UML and C4
A good understanding of data and metadata standards and standards development and management
Experience of matching different metadata schemas, modelling techniques and data standards to meet user requirements
Active SC (used within the last 12 months) clearance
Attend both highly technical meetings as well as business focused meetings and vary your communication style in line
