Overview:
Our client, a leading charity, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist / Web Manager with experience in WordPress to help them successfully implement and launch their upcoming rebrand. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a meaningful cause and lead the digital transformation efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for the charity's online presence while driving engagement through digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WordPress Management:
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of the charity's new website post-rebrand, ensuring a smooth launch.
    • Maintain and update the website with engaging content, ensuring it aligns with the charity's new brand guidelines.
    • Troubleshoot any technical issues and manage website performance, including SEO enhancements.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to support the launch of the new brand.
    • Optimise content for search engines and user engagement, driving traffic to the website and other digital platforms.
    • Utilise data and analytics to monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Content Creation & Management:
    • Create and manage web content, blogs, newsletters, and other digital assets, ensuring consistency with the new brand tone and voice.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
  • Social Media & Email Campaigns:
    • Manage the charity's social media platforms, creating strategies that increase audience engagement and promote the charity's mission.
    • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that align with the charity's overall fundraising and awareness goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Monitor and report on the performance of digital campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
    • Utilise tools such as Google Analytics to track website traffic, conversions, and user behaviour.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing WordPress websites, including launching or rebranding sites.
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including SEO, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and social media management platforms.
  • Excellent content creation skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the charity sector and an understanding of the importance of brand storytelling.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in the charity or non-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of fundraising campaigns and audience engagement in the digital space.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation.
