Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a growing and ambitious subcontractor based in Leeds. This company works across a diverse range of construction projects, including residential, commercial, refurbishments, new builds, and schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Document Controller looking to advance their career within a small but rapidly growing company, offering huge potential for career progression. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating project documentation, ensuring all information is accurately recorded, filed, and distributed across the team.

The role offers flexible working with three days in the office and 2 days at home.



Document Controller Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate document flow between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure all drawings, specifications, and reports are up to date and correctly filed.
  • Track and monitor incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Assist project managers with document control processes to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support in maintaining the document management system and ensure information is easily accessible.
  • Provide administrative support where required across multiple projects.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with the company's quality standards and complies with industry regulations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes and systems.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office.
