Your new companyAn established building services design consultancy who specialise in Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental engineering are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join their team. A multidisciplinary team with expertise across MEP, BIM & 3D modelling providing consulting services throughout the UK and Ireland.Your new roleYou will be involved with a portfolio of bespoke electrical projects including new builds and refurbishments, taking them from the initial brief through scheme and detail design to installation and commissioning support. You will collaborate with other engineers and technicians, provide input on the design, attend site and client meetings as well as a range of other duties associated with each project.What you'll need to succeed

  • Electrical Engineering/Building Services related degree
  • Experience in the design of electrical systems in buildings/built environment including: Lighting, Small Power, Fire Detection & Alarm, Low Voltage Distribution, Security and CCTV, Access Control
  • Experience of producing design drawings, specifications
  • Report writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Amtech or similar cable sizing software
  • Dialux or similar lighting calculation software
