Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

Position Overview:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and safety. This role requires a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for new products.
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for electrical designs.
Perform simulations and testing to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the development and production phases.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports and user manuals.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design capabilities.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and assembly teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Proven experience in electrical design and engineering (3+ years preferred).
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, UL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
Familiarity with PCB design and embedded systems is a plus.
